Have any of you heard of Ana White? My roomie, Tracy, introduced me to her blog and I have become a fan! She is an extremely talented DIY woman and I envy her woodworking skills. Her blog is a step-by-step, how to, do-it-yourself, instructional tool box for creating or even copying beautiful furniture. My roommate has decided to take on one of these projects with her boyfriend and I couldn't wait to share the process.
This is about mid-way through. Tracy's boyfriend had cut and constructed the basic frame and was in the middle of practicing his staining. There were goals of drawers for the top three slots and doors for the lower ends but I think that ended up being a little ambitious for a first time woodworking project.

And this is the lovely result! Stained top and painted base.
My favorite part of the piece is the wood stain color (I am stealing it for a DIY project of my own soon, stay tuned for the post).
Tracy plans to fill each compartment with baskets for her belongings (she is moving in with Nick).
Enjoy and check out Ana White's blog!

Hi, I'm looking for the plans for this. I just love it! Could you post them? I couldn't find them on Ana White's page.
