The Byrd Alzheimer's C.A.R.E Center at The University of South Florida is complete!
The 12,000 sq. ft. state of the art center provides comprehensive diagnostic and care giving services to it's patients. We provided full architectural and interior design services for the facility and I am extremely excited with the finalized space. The clinic is designed with areas for laboratory research, clinical trials, support and educational programs for the patients and their families.
The overall aesthetic feel when visiting the C.A.R.E. Center is warm and calming. The inviting waiting areas for patients, families and friends makes the overall visit and sessions much more successful. When the patients are comfortable and calm the evaluations are completed with better results.
The center includes a PET scan room, physical therapy area, model apartment for physical evaluations, driving simulator, exam rooms, injection rooms, consultation rooms, an educational staff classroom, kitchen/buffet, comfortable waiting areas, movie viewing areas, children's play room and resource library.
