This room screams fun! Feminine, soft, dramatic. Maybe a bit playful and erotic too.

Had to post some eye candy of her work. Too much fun to look at. Her vivid, bright colors are so intriguing. Makes me want to choose some insanely unusual color for my room re-do.

Douggie

Celebrated my Birthday last weekend with my closest friends. We had a pool/BBQ day (and of course it rained the entire time) fully loaded with food and yummy drinks. As I opened my gifts I secretly was most excited for the huge box sitting in the middle of the table. I felt like a little kid, had secretly shaken it earlier in the day. Seemed light. Definitely not a DirtDevil.

The huge box was from my closest girlfriends (there are seven of us total and we typical do a joint gift). At the first tear of the paper I knew what it was. Of course the big black writing on the side of the box that read, "15" WHITE DEER HEAD" kind of gave it away. I screamed. Then continued to try and stab the packing tape with a clear plastic fork. Someone got me some scissors.

When I finally pulled my beautiful Douggie (thats what we named him) out of the packaging... everyone kind of sat in silence. I don't think anyone at the party could understand why I was so excited to receive this barbaric, dead animal head. It's faux people! 

As you can tell, I am ecstatic about my new accessory, Douggie. He is my new inspiration to vamp up my bedroom. Isn't he cute?

Still on a search for a faux animal head. 

Well, I guess in search of a place to put it as well.

Maybe a ceramic one from ZGallerie? They just came out with a Fauxidermy collection of ceramic heads. Thinking those are my favorite.
