11...

...more days until Santa comes to visit me. Counting down as always. Although the countdown is not the same as it used to be. The excitement of that morning where your treasures are waiting for you under the tree seems so distant. My countdown is now focused around how many more days I have left to search for all the gifts on my purchase list. Seems like a mad dash this year. No matter how organized I seem to be, there is never enough time.

To follow the Christmas decor posts I love the idea of creating or purchasing an advent calendar for the Holiday. You can see my personal advent calendar in this post that I have had since I was born. I should probably upgrade some day and did a quick search for ideas this morning. Enjoy!

Mantel

Some more Holiday decor inspiration for my LiveLove&Repeat readers!
I grew up with two fireplaces, yes two, in Florida... I know, doesn't really make sense. But I don't think I could live without one (or at least would like one in my future home). Plus, how would Santa get in to deliver all those gifts without a chimney?

Happy December and enjoy the mantel eye candy.

One more

Had a final photo come in from the Byrd Alzheimer's Institute at The University of South Florida. This is the main reception desk once in the facility. I decided to re-shoot this area with Randy Van Duinen due to not being in love with the first one we took. What do you think?

See all the photos here.

Great Gift Find

Did a series of Great Gift Finds last year for the Holidays and have found a few items I wanted to share. This morning on Good Morning America they did a segment on Steals and Deals, exclusive deals for GMA viewers. Loved the May Books products that are 50% off today! The husband and wife team created eco friendly notebooks with several page options, fun and flirty patterned covers and options to personalize. A steal with today's discount. Check them out.

Also in the stationary theme, I use lined notebooks every day. We all know I get a little carried away with my to-do lists and they allow me to keep all these tasks in one place. My current notebook is perfect with a soft floral patterned cover, lined pages and is also eco friendly with its content being 70% recycled. Made by Green Room Eco and sold at Target stores.

And my current Green Room notebook...

Happy shopping!
